For an intact ecosystem, wild flowering plants provide a wide range of options for numerous species of insects, which in turn serve as a food source for many bird species or small mammals such as hedgehogs. With our insect hotel, in an ideal location in the wildflower meadow, we offer the occupants a refuge, an option for hibernation and a nesting aid which provides brood care. The more diverse the plants in our wildflower meadow become, the greater the variety among our "hotel guests" will be. We are actively promoting this.
