1972:
The company is founded in Muggensturm by Wilhelm (Willi) Jäger as a warehouse and logistics centre. The business is soon expanded to include the first cosmetic product, a hand cleanser.
1978:
Granting of a manufacturing licence for the bottling and packaging of semi-solid forms. Start of medicinal product production and packaging.
1981:
The second generation of the founding family takes over the reins of the company with expansion of the management and Ursula König (née Jäger) joining the company. Ursula König now brings her many years of experience in other cosmetics companies to Jäger.
1998:
Construction and completion of a new packaging and administration building in order to be able to cater to the constantly increasing customer demand.
2000:
Hartmut Jäger joins the management. Conversion and expansion of production for pharmaceutical powder production.
2004:
Acquisition of a neighbouring property in preparation for expansion of capacity.
2008:
Start of construction for a massive expansion of production and modernisation of the entire warehouse area including ingoing and outgoing goods.
2010:
Completion of the new building complex (ingoing and outgoing goods, raw materials warehouse, mixing room). Approval by the regional authorities. Installation of a natural cooling system for the production area. Tripling of the mixing capacity.
2017:
ISO 13485 Medical devices & 22000 Food safety certification.
2020:
Promotion of e-mobility for employees, charging stations for employees, customers and suppliers.
2022:
Sale of the majority stake to a group of Swiss companies and investors.
2023:
Ursula König and Hartmut Jäger move to the board of directors and continue to make their experience available to the company as competent advisers.
